K-17 • THE LAST LANDING

BAR NIGHT

Grab a wooden spoon. That's your mic.

  1. Grab a spoon. It's your mic.
  2. Pick a bartender. The bartender holds the phone and runs the night.
  3. The bartender spins. Everyone yells "STOP!" The card says how to sing, and the game picks the song.
  4. Sing! Then everyone shouts a score from 1 to 17. The highest score counts.
  5. If anything goes wrong, say "Begin again" and start the song over.
What does the bartender do?

The bartender is whoever holds the phone. They don't have to sing (unless they want to). Their job:

  1. Spin the card.
  2. Press play on the song.
  3. Tap the score the room shouts.
  4. Say "Pass the spoon!" and spin for the next singer.

Keep one bartender all night, or pass the phone to the left each round so everyone gets a turn.

PICK YOUR SHIFT

The whole song, start to finish. For crew who came to commit.

SHIFT COMPLETE. SCORE IT!

Everyone shout a number. Tap the highest one.

All the sing-along songs

New night clears tonight's scores and gives the bartender their veto back.

Bartender's eyes only

Tall Orders. Three cards are taller than the rest. Land on one and everyone stands and sings the whole song standing, spoons held high. Anyone who sits too early hears "Tall order!" and pops back up.

The Doible Shift. They're too tired to spell. Whoever points out the spelling has been noticed, and on this ship, noticed means you sing next.

The numbers. The Archive unlocks cards a few at a time. When this deck came through, 13 had arrived. Then four more showed up. Auditors are still studying the pattern. If you figure it out, keep it to yourself.

The Crew Code
  1. Crew sings to crew, not to the room.
  2. Keep it low in public.
  3. Never in a stranger's space.
  4. Anyone can join. Nobody is pressured.
  5. If asked to stop, stop with a smile.
  6. Lift everyone up.
  7. Crew is kind, watched or unwatched.

SIGNAL INTERFERENCE

Something is on the line.
Raise your finger mic.

BEGIN AGAIN?

This erases your crew number, tonight's scores and the bartender's veto on this phone. You'll pick a new number right after.
